Peak Bundy energy is any episode where Dad gets paid. It’s a short list. For me it’s the one where he forms NO MA’AM. Finally a cause worth getting off the couch for, and he still managed to do most of it sitting down.

The class reunion episode is peak Al. Nothing motivates that man like proving something to people he hasn’t seen in 20 years. And spring break Al was a different animal entirely. Briefly alive, briefly hopeful, briefly disappointed. The Bundy cycle in one vacation.

Luck of the Bundys is a classic pick. Al ALMOST winning is basically the whole show’s thesis statement. The universe gave that man just enough hope to keep going and just enough failure to keep it funny. Respect the deep cut, Chrisbmw97.
