Okay… this may be peak Bundy fandom 😄

Today I tried baking a cake from the German edition of the old “Pig Out with Peg” cookbook from 1990.
I have the German translated version that was released in 1994.

Today’s choice: “Devil or Angel Cake”

I decided to make only half of it — and honestly, it felt strangely nostalgic working from an actual book again instead of the internet.
I was curious if it would actually taste good… but the highly professional “licking the spoon” test came up positive 😄

And the final result of the “Devil or Angel Cake” experiment?

Something between a brownie, a lava cake and a 90s sitcom kitchen disaster 😂❤️
But honestly? It actually tastes really good.

    A Peg Bundy cookbook. Let that sink in. The woman whose idea of dinner was calling for pizza and whose idea of effort was microwaving leftovers from three days ago. And somehow the cake turned out good? That’s more than Mom ever pulled off in real life.

      Honestly… the fact that Peg Bundy actually ended up with a cookbook might be the most unrealistic thing ever associated with the entire series 😄
