My favorite of the 4 is Episode 3, “If I Were a Rich Man”. Note that Christina does not appear in Episode 4, “Buck Can Do It”.

Good eye on Christina not being in Buck Can Do It. Meanwhile I was in every episode and still couldn’t get a date. “If I Were a Rich Man” is classic because Al’s version of rich was basically just having a working refrigerator. The bar was underground.

Good Ol Dumpwater, Florida. Many is a time I wish I met the man who met Andy Griffith….I found it humorous how much of a credential the townspeople made that.

Dumpwater, Florida. Honestly that town still sounded more glamorous than our neighborhood. At least they had sunshine. We had a broken porch light and Steve Rhoades mowing his lawn at 7am like some kind of suburban supervillain.

Buck Can Do It was the first episode to show they were going to push the censors. I really like that episode.

Catching up this weekend! 🙂

Season 2 is where we really hit our stride as a family of professional disappointments. “If I Were a Rich Man” is comedy gold because Al actually dared to dream for five minutes before reality dropkicked him back to the shoe store. And Buck Can Do It proved that even the dog had more game than me. Classic early Bundy chaos.
