We were talkin about how many peoples careers were launched by this Richard Linklater Classic. A lot of things were improvised in this movie as well. The director gave music to the cast with suggestions of what he thought his character would listen to and he had THE DOORS live album where Jim Morrison yelled “Alright alright Alright!!” And that’s where Matt got that from. I almost met Parker Posey Three times but she canceled all three. Hopefully one day cause she’s great in everything. So far ive met two. Joey makin the freshman fry like bacon in the movie is hilarious and Matt stole the show with his character. He was very cool and laid back. I told him I liked him in the movie “FRAILTY” when I met him, which is a great movie everyone should check out. It’s a great little known thriller film directed and starring Bill Paxton (RIP). Awesome Film. But since David brought up Dazed and Confused, I watched it recently also and cracks me up. Affleck played the best bullies and assholes in everything at that time, School Ties, Mallrats, Dazed, Buffy, he was either a jock or a jerk in everything. He jokes about it too cause Chasing Amy was his first film where he was not a dick. His spaz out is great though with the paint scene. Cracks me up everytime.
