AL Bundy VS Marcy Darcy

I think the internet and exaggerations by fans have saddened this great rivalry. As much as all us AL fans couldn’t stand Marcy half the time, we still couldn’t live without her. Just wouldn’t be the same. I’m glad whatever differences they had, never really came thru at all in their work. And it didn’t hurt that half the times their characters were at each other’s throats. But when I met Amanda about 19 years ago at one of my first conventions, one of my first questions was what was it like working with Ed?!?!?? Believe it or not, she spoke very highly of Ed, even going as far to say nobody ever made her laugh at hard as he did and also that he was one of the best actors that she’s ever worked with.. She did say that he was somewhat unhappy towards the end of the shows run, mainly cause he felt that the show was starting to lose its flair a little, maybe gettin too cartoony, etc. But I think it would be awesome to get Ed and Amanda back on the couch one day hopefully. Ed has also taken responsibility for things he might have done differently so that there wasn’t any tension. Either way it seems that they are both passed that now and it be great to have like two of the best AL vs Marcy watch parties and get them both online. I really think they would both do it also, I def think the internet made their differences worse than they were. They seemed to get along well at the last reunion also. Fingers crossed!!!
