This is another gem that I doubt you’ll see anywhere other than here on bundyclub.com. This 1997 Thomas Guide was gifted to the cast (and possibly the crew, I can’t remember). All i have to say is THANK GOD for GPS. I couldn’t figure these things out if you paid me…

Cool David! Love these rare props you find. I have some stuff too packed up. Comics ads posters scripts. I just have to dig abunch out. I’m watchin the whole series again I’m halfway thru season 3. The Gypsy Cried is funny as hell. Just did a post about it.

I’m confused… looking at your profile picture, am I supposed to call you Habib or David now?
Anyway… back to the post: You’ve dug up another little treasure! I really love the cover. You can tell they really cared about details like that back then. They made even something as simple as a travel guide feel special. I love that you’ve kept all this stuff over the years.
And I’m so grateful for Google Maps and apps like it these days too… I’d be completely lost without them. -

I’ve never actually used one of those, but Mapquest was my go-to back in the day.
Love the peek into the treasure chest!

Oh wow David, I was driving toward Rowland Heights from Los Angeles for a birthday dinner for a family member just recently and my spouse and I joked with our nephew in the car “How much further 60 East do we have to go?!?” Lol Then we brought up the Thomas Guide and how they only worked so far and then you would be lost and need to ask directions at a nearby gas station. Our nephew just couldn’t believe those were days before GPS. Half of the fun (or nightmare) was just trying to find the place! Keep the book David 🙂
