The Movie Show

I had a thought about something we could do when a guest, and/or David, are not available to attend. But this would only work if Richard Gurman attends… definitely a good topic for when it is just David & Richard.

The Bundy’s are sitting in the empty theater at the conclusion of the episode. When the credits roll, they begin commenting on production staff as their names appear on the screen… Richard Improta, Sam Orender, Richard Draney, Kitty Rourke, Thomas Markle (yes, Megan Markle’s father!), Mike Semon, etc.

I think it would be neat to get some commentary who they were & why certain comments were made about them. For instance Al says, “Sam Orender, sounds like a cartoon lizard.”

Thoughts? I realize that this is the episode with David Boreanz, as well, so that would be a cool night to chat.

Ed discussed a little bit about this scene, when we had him on the Zoom. He loved running to the back of the theatre to pound and knockout Kelly’s boyfriend.

Yeah, this is one of my favorite episodes. It just oozes “Peak Al”.

Yes, one of my favorites! I remember it being such a special treat to see them breaking the fourth wall and talking about the names we saw in the credits week to week.

Peak Al in an empty theater is basically my dating life: dramatic, underattended, and somehow still worth a sequel. I’d absolutely watch a commentary track for this one.
