My favorite is Season 4 – even though it marked the departure of Steve Rhoades. I have more favorite episodes from that season. My second-favorite is Season 3, then Season 5, Season 2, and Season 1. After that, I’ll say Season 6, Season 7, Season 9, Season 8, Season 11, and Season 10 is my least favorite.

Man I haven’t really quite thought of my fave to least fave seasons in all honesty bc i was kind of just living it basically. And I can truly say i have never really gone back and looked as hard at the episodes as I am doing currently. But I WILL say that the ones i’ve watched from season 4 while doing our homework have been pure fire! So you might just be onto something there ha. I DO remember season 10 being somewhat of a dud tho. There was one episode though, and it might have been in season 11, but where Kelly and I are tinting the windows of the dodge in the garage. I remember catching that one at one point and i thought that was pretty funny. But…more will be revealed as we all go on this journey together. Thanks for this post!!

The first half of season 11 was very underrated. Peg getting amnesia is one of my favorite episodes. Peg and Kelly trying to figure out a microwave, hysterical. Al on COPS tasering Marcy?

Yet even in weaker seasons I can pull out really funny episodes.
11 does have some good episodes, I thought the episodes were either a solid hit, or a complete miss. The cold openings didn’t work for Married with Children.
Agreed they just weren’t good.
I understand why they did it. Moving to Saturday’s you needed to attract audiences fast and their 1 minute opening credits risked changing the channel.
Also easier back in the day for reruns instead of going to a commercial 90 seconds into a scene.
season 4 for the win so far, eh?
Also the season you all started getting entrance applauses. Rowdiness picked up that season from the crowd.
I noticed the entrance applauses starting in Season 4.
These rankings are decent, and there is definitely a trend. I’ll have to think about my list, but generally speaking you guys nailed the waves of seasons.

I think my ranking would be: 5 > 6 > 4 > 1 > 3 > 9 > 2 > 7 > 11 > 8 > 10.
For me.. 3,2,1,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11
Season 2 and 3 are the greatest. Unmatched.
